Catherine Broadwall grew up in Seattle and Edmonds, WA. Her studies of literature have taken her to Switzerland, Japan, New York, Michigan, New Hampshire, and elsewhere. She lived in Boise, ID for a few years, working as an assistant professor at the College of Western Idaho and a teaching-writer at The Cabin, a literary nonprofit. Currently, she is an assistant professor of English at DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA.

Catherine loves poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, comics, film, animation, YA, and video games. When she's not teaching, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her loved ones.
